Using Simon Bisley original artworks as reference, I’ve been able to cultivate a collection of studies wherein I am learning a new skill of rendering using acrylic painting. This is a good example of how these practices are effective. I’m able to mix a color hue as close to the original as I can, and practice applying tints/ shades through multiple layers from dark to light. Additionally, Bisley’s subject matter allows me to retain practices in human anatomy and composition
